Day 1: Mykonos

Arrival Airport: Mykonos International Airport (JMK)

Welcome to Mykonos! Your driver and guide will meet you at the airport (or ferry port) and take you to your hotel. You'll enjoy a relaxing afternoon there while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive, then gather together for a traditional Greek welcome dinner. We'll eat multiple courses, all while getting to know each other and enjoying gorgeous views of the Aegean Sea.

Day 2: Delos Island Tour and Workshop

Today we'll explore the nearby Isle of Delos, one of the most important historical, mythological, and archaeological sites in the country. We'll see countless landmarks — including the Terrace of the Lions, the Temple of the Delians, and the House of the Masks — during our guided tour. After exploring the island, we'll participate in our first workshop of the trip!

In the afternoon, we'll have our first workshop: an experience with Angi of Angelique Ink. Come prepared to learn and grow!

After we've finished our activities and workshop, you'll have a free evening to explore the city and find dinner.

Day 3: Mykonian Cooking Class and Workshop

If you're an early riser, you'll want to wake up early to catch the sunrise over Mykonos. We'll eat breakfast as a group, then embark on a village tour and cooking class with a local Greek family. Our culinary hosts will welcome us into their beautiful Mykonian home and treat us like family. They’ll teach us about Mykonian history and culture, share stories about their family life, and make us feel as if we’ve known them forever. We’ll learn about the true Mykonian lifestyle and taste some traditional meze snacks, such as dakos with kopanisti cheese and tomato, louza (sun-dried pork fillets), full-bodied wine, and Cretan raki. In the kitchen, we’ll make tzatziki and spinach pie, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, beef with orzo, and several other delectable dishes.

In the afternoon, we'll gather together for the second workshop of the trip: an experience with Jane of Red Letter Day. In the evening, you'll have the chance to choose your own adventure and eat dinner at a restaurant of your choice.

Day 4: Santorini

We'll leave Mykonos behind and set forth for Santorini, arriving in plenty of time for another exciting day.

In the afternoon, you'll have leisure time to get to know our temporary home. If you choose to explore Santorini, you'll see beautiful streets, learn how Santorinians live, and become intimately acquainted with your gorgeous surroundings.

After a few hours of free time, we'll eat a traditional, five-course dinner together, then settle in for the night.

(Today, you may also opt to enjoy Happy Hour with your workshop hosts, which will double up as a creative brainstorming session.)

Day 5: Workshop and Santorini Cooking Class

We'll enjoy a relaxing morning before gathering together for a delicious breakfast and our final workshop of the trip: an experience with Joanna of Wink & Wonder.

In the afternoon, we'll meet with one of Santorini's top chefs for a hands-on cooking class. Together, we'll prepare dishes like traditional Greek salad, fava beans with nuts and caramelized onion, and mussels saganaki. And for dinner, we'll feast on our own culinary creations!

Day 6: Village Tours and Wine Tasting

In the late morning, we will be picked up from our hotel, and we’ll embark on a guided tour of traditional Greek villages, learning about centuries of rich history, while sampling the flavors of local cuisine. We’ll journey through Santorini’s Venetian past, marveling at breathtaking views, historic castle remains, and the serene, abandoned villages that feels frozen in time.

In the afternoon, we'll set off on a guided volcanic wine tasting expedition, sampling traditional Santorini wines — the nectar of the Gods. This island holds some of Europe’s oldest vineyards, with a history spanning over 4,500 years.

We'll end the day by enjoying another deliicous dinner and gazing at the the gorgeous sunset views one last time.

Day 7: Greece / USA

After breakfast, we'll say goodbye to beautiful Greece and our new friends, then head to the airport.

Of course, you could also prolong your trip and visit Crete or Athens — just ask us about these three-day extensions when making your booking!

Learn the art of modern calligraphy with Angi of Angelique Ink! In this workshop, you will learn how to properly hold an oblique calligraphy pen, gain an understanding of basic pen strokes, technique to create beautiful letterforms, pen control, and connecting letters. In this course, you will also get an introduction to composition and styling, and personal one-on-one instruction and feedback from Angi, so you can walk away with all the tools you need for developing your skill and style.

A thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented set of deluxe supplies, including a dual use pen staff, Angi's instructional guide book and coordinating notepad with practice alphabets and styling exercises, nibs, ink, and a beautiful handmade wooden inkwell holder is included for you to take home for practice!

About Red Letter Day

Learn how to paint with watercolor with Jane Gahng from Red Letter Day. This three-hour workshop will cover all the basics needed to put aside fear and open up a creative outlet to make beautiful works of art! Each student will learn the fundamentals of the materials, color theory, mixing palettes, to becoming comfortable using the brush and controlling it. You'll walk away with the basics to develop your skills as a watercolor painter. Along with a beginner set of materials, each student will receive an instructional booklet to take home and practice.

This class is perfect for newbies that have never picked up a brush or beginners with some experience that want to learn different techniques. The techniques and skills learned in this class can be applied to creating botanicals, portraits, animals... pretty much anything you want to paint! Come and see how versatile and fun this medium can be!

About Wink & Wonder

Learn the basics of hand lettering with Joanna from Wink & Wonder in this three-hour introductory course! This class is perfect for all levels, whether you’re just starting out or expanding your current skill set. Students will learn the tools and techniques used to create gorgeous letterforms, sketch out ideas and refine concepts, create interesting compositions, and learn how to incorporate flourishes into their work. Joanna will walk you through her creative process and also teach you how to craft your own personal style.

Students will receive a starter set of Joanna's favorite lettering tools, a custom print, plus worksheets and a lettering guide to take home and continue to practice with. This class is all about exploring and having fun!

Travelers arrive from all over the world to begin our tours, and it is not possible to include international airfare in our prices. We would be happy to help you arrange flights. Just ask for an air quote when making your booking.

+ Do I need a visa for this trip? Can you help me arrange my visa?

If you are an American traveler, you will not need a visa. Please use VisaHQ to verify the visa requirements for your itinerary and complete the required paperwork.

+ How should I pack for Greece?

If you're visiting between November and March, you'll want to bring a jacket and a few pairs of jeans. If you're visiting during the summer, we recommend bringing breezy maxi dresses (and/or breathable shirts and pants), sandals, and a hat.
