Day 1: Arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica

Arrive: Juan Santamaría International Airport

Welcome to Costa Rica! We’ll arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica's capital, where we’ll acclimate to the climate with an introductory lesson on Costa Rican history. After a relaxing first day in paradise, we’ll feast on a traditional welcome dinner as we learn about the country’s rich culture & delicious cuisine.

Day 2: Volcanic Adventures

Fuel up with a hearty buffet breakfast to prepare for our adventure-packed day. We will embark of a journey through Panamerican highway to Alajuela making our destination the wondrous and active Poas Volcano. Then continue onto another volcano referred to as Arenal, making a following stop at Sarchi to learn from the artisans and admire their paited oxcards.

Day 3: Arenal Volcano & Río Fortuna Waterfall

This morning, you will trek through Arenal Volcano National Park. Catching sight of the vibrant vegetation and rocky terrain formed by volcanic activity.

Later, you will visit the Río Fortuna Waterfall, a key attraction in Arenal Volcano National Park and situated in the depths of the humid tropical rainforest. The path to the waterfall’s base cascades down 530 steps, but there will be opportunities to rest along the way. Once at the base, you'll have the opportunity to dive into the crystal clear water that runs into the Fortunate River.

Day 4: Arenal Volcano & Monteverde

In the morning after breakfast we will depart for Monteverde. During our journey, you'll be able to admire the lush landscape. We will eventually arrive to the Cloud Forest stopping for lunch and having the opportunity to check into the hotel.

Later in the day, we will depart for night stroll through the cloud forest of Monteverde Biological Reserve. Catching glimpse of the vast wildlife that inhabits and explores the rainforest at night.

You will enjoy a torch-lit forest dinner featuring farm-to-table ingredients from our organic farm and a curated wine list. Take a Scenic hike in the Hummingbird Garden and cloud forest trails. Zip-line through the forest canopy or rappel down the face of a roaring waterfall. Tour a Coffee Hacienda and sample the local cuisine at the country market.

Day 5: Monteverde & Guanacaste

Breakfast at the hotel and then meet with private driver to transfer from Monteverde to the Guanacaste Savannah, a large plain with vast agriculture and livestock. Here, you'll enjoy its sunny weather and stunning beaches. Dive into the interesting culture, music and cuisine, and the hallmark friendly hospitality of Costa Rica.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Guanacaste before your transfer to Peñas Blancas Border, here you will go through border patrol and meet the Nicaraguan guide who will accompany you to Granada.

WELCOME TO NICARAGUA!!! Lunch on route and check in at the hotel.

Free afternoon to know the surrounding areas of the colonial Granada city.

Day 2: Full Day Tour of Granada

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before embarking on your all-inclusive tour of Nicaragua, exploring all that the country can offer in a single day.

In the morning you will explore the Spanish-Colonial city of Granada, founded by Spanish captain Francisco Hernández de Cordoba in 1524. Enjoy a pleasant boat trip thru the lush volcanic islets of Lake Nicaragua.

In the afternoon, you will visit Catarina viewpoint with an amazing view to the volcanic crater, Laguna de Apoyo and the colorful Craft Market at the city of Masaya.

At the end of the day, explore one of the world's most active volcanoes “Masaya Volcano National Park” and discover the lava lake from the active crater Santiago one of just eight lava lakes on the planet.

Day 3: Granada - Guanacaste

Transfer to Peñas Blancas Border, where you'll go through border patrol and meet the Costa Rican guide who will accompany you in Costa Rica. You'll arrive to the hotel arround lunch and have the chance to eat, unpack, and relax for a bit.

Free afternoon to know the surrounding areas with natural waterfalls, hiking trails, hot springs, or simply enjoy the hotel´s facilities.

Day 4: Costa Rica / USA

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to the airport. You must be at the airport three hours before your flight departure time.
