After arriving at Denpasar International Airport and collecting your luggage, you will be greeted by your driver who will transport you to your hotel accommodation located in Kuta, one of the top areas in Bali. In the evening, sit down at the comfortable restaurant at your hotel to enjoy a spread of delicious food featuring distinct dishes from around Indonesia. The chefs are experts at their craft and will prepare a delicious meal to welcome you to this beautiful island oasis. Day 2: Cultural Tour sin Kuta, Bali

After a delicious breakfast, we will be picked up by our driver to visit some of the local cultural and historical sites. Our first stop will include a visit to several of the stunning temples around Bali, and we will learn about the cultural and religious significance of these locations. The vast majority of the citizens in Bali are practicing Hindus, and take time each day to visit one of the many temples that dot the city to deliver an offering. The drive will take approximately an hour to arrive at Uluwatu temple. Uluwatu temple stands at the edge of an ocean cliff, overlooking the Indian Ocean over 70 meters below. Day 3: Water day in Kuta, Bali

Our private driver and guide will arrive at the hotel to transfer us to nearby island beach - a popular destination to snorkel in the beautiful, crystal clear waters just off the shore of this remote part of Bali. The drive south will take approximately 1 hour. Upon our arrival, we will be outfitted with all the necessary equipment to snorkel in the amazing crystal clear waters of Bali. For those not wanting to snorkel, they can relax on the beautiful white sandy beaches, catching a bit of sun and enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. In the afternoon we will be transported to Kuta beach to explore a number of the popular street markets in the area. A variety of local products and goods are sold here for relatively inexpensive prices. Browse the various shops and try your hand at bargaining with the locals. Depending on the time of year the group may have the opportunity to participate in releasing baby sea turtles from Kuta beach. Kuta beach is home to a turtle conservation effort, and visitors can assist with the turtle release (weather permitting).

Day 4: Waterfalls and Rice Terraces in Ubud, Bali

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel before gathering up your belongings as we depart for our next destination - the popular city of Ubud. Ubud is one of the most popular destinations to visit in Bali, with foreigners coming from around the world to experience this unique destination. The drive to Ubud takes approximately 2 hours and we will stop en-route to visit some of the most popular waterfalls and temples in Central Bali. We will break for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our drive. We will stop at several temples and other historical sites before arriving in Ubud in the evening. We will settle into our hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner before retiring for the evening.

Day 5: Foodie & Coffee Tour Ubud, Bali

After a delicious breakfast at our hotel, we will spend the day visiting the surrounding jungle and Temple Lots. After exploring Ubud, we will transfer to Munduk Moding, a famous plantation location atop the mountains of Bali. This famous plantation is home to one of the largest coffee and clove plantations in the area and has absolutely incredible mountain scenery to enjoy. We will have a guided tour of the grounds, and learn more about the industry that occurs in this remote, tranquil part of Bali. After exploring Ubud, we will transfer to Munduk Moding, a famous plantation location atop the mountains of Bali. This famous plantation is home to one of the largest coffee and clove plantations in the area and has absolutely incredible mountain scenery to enjoy. We will have a guided tour of the grounds, and learn more about the industry that occurs in this remote, tranquil part of Bali. Our group will have dinner at Munduk Moding, enjoying the sunset lookout and view before being transferred back to ubud to retire for the evening. Day 6: Monkey forest Ubud, Bali

After a delicious breakfast at our hotel, we will set out for a full day of exploring. Our first location will be Monkey forest, a popular spot for those brave enough to visit this monkey filled jungle location. As we walk through the monkey forest, be especially careful not to take food into the forest - the monkeys are known to be quite eager to to grab food from unsuspecting tourists! After exploring the forest and capturing several photos with the inquisitive monkeys that reside here, we will return back to Ubud to start a traditional balinese cooking class with one of the best instructors in the area. Our afternoon will be filled with learning how to make traditional balinese food and sampling as we go. After our immersive cooking class we will have the chance to sample what we made, enjoying everything from gado gado (a thai vegetable peanut dish) to satay to pomelo salad.

Day 7: Depart Bali Indonesia

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at our hotel, our driver and guide will arrive to transport our group to the airport for our international departure home. Please be sure to leave for the airport with plenty of time to get through security to board your flight home.

4-Day Extension to Sumatra (Orangutan Trekking)

Embark on a journey to Sumatra, where you will have up-close encounters with the Sumatran Orangutan. A short flight from Bali, will take you to the capital of Sumatra - Medan. Here you will be met by your private driver and guide and taken to Bukit Lawang, the closest settlement to the entrance of the National Forest that is home to the Sumatran Orangutan. You will overnight at the Ecolodge, run by a non-profit organization that focuses on sustainable ecotourism and protecting the Orangutan Population. During your stay you will be surrounded by beautiful tropical rainforest, and during your guided wilderness treks each day you can see the varieties of: Sumatran Orangutan, birds, butterflies, white handed gibbon, hornbills, Thomas leaf monkey, various reptiles and possibly even a Sumatran Tiger or elephant! Revenue from your experience flows back to the local population, social programs and nature conservation.
