Itinerary | 9 Days
Day 1-2 New Delhi | Agra | Taj Mahal: We will meet in New Delhi on the morning of Day 1 and spend the morning exploring the bustling spice markets and food bazaars. Our private bus will depart for Agra in the afternoon just in time to be at the Taj Mahal for sunset. Here we will enjoy a traditional welcome dinner overlooking the Taj and have an introduction about the culture and cuisine we will be experiencing throughout our trip. In the morning we will wake up before sunrise to arrive at the Taj Mahal in time to see the sprawling pools, garden, and spectacular monument be bathed in glorious light and color. After a tour of Taj Mahal, we will visit an artisan factory where we will learn how the inlaid artwork of the Taj was created. Accomodation: Hotel Taj Resort | Oberoi Agra
Days 3-4 Ranthambore Tiger Safari | Jaipur: In Jaipur all your senses will be brought to an extraordinary new level — with the tastes and smells unique to this region of Indian cuisine, and the visual wonders that will allow you to capture jaw-dropping photographs. From cooking classes to hands-on photo lessons, we’ll immerse ourselves in the rhythm of this busting city. There will embark on a journey riding elephants up to Amer Fort, feed monkeys on our stroll to Monkey Temple, dine with a local family in a traditional home setting, and participate in a hands-on cooking course. We’ll get lost in the sunburnt forts, maneuver the bustling bazaars on winding streets, and learn new culinary skills. Accommodation: Pearl Palace Heritage | Taj Hotel Rambagh
Days 5-6 Pushkar Festival | Jodhpur: We’ll move onto Jodhpur, a city to make every adventurer's heart soar. With its turquoise buildings, navy roads, and topaz passageways, this city holds unparalleled beautiful, color, and contrast around every corner. We’ll spend our days exploring Mehrangarh Fort, learning how to make succulent curries and Indian breads, getting immersed in the vibrant textile and spice markets, and catching golden hour from the tops of the vibrant blue buildings that dot the city. Here we will have the opportunity to better understand Northern India Culture & Cuisine through guided visits to Hindu & Jain Temples and a delicious cooking course. Days 7-9 Rankpur Temples | Udaipur: Our journey will bring us to Udaipur, a stunning city lakeside city curled into the hills where we can finish honing our cooking skills and review the photographs from our adventure. After dining on the delicious masalas and samosas we prepared in our hands-on cooking class, we will take a sunset boat tour on Lake Pichola, floating in the reflected lights and color from the temples and palaces, as well as have an in-depth tour of the history of this centuries-old city. Our journey will come to an end with a delicious Parting Dinner at the Natraj Restaurant - world famous for it's delicious Rasjasthani Thalis. Accommodation: Madri Haveli | Taj Lake Palace
