Today you’ll depart Venice by train to the beautiful city of Florence. After arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, follow your guide on a walking tour of the city, starting at the famed Uffizi Gallery—home to world-renowned artwork, such as Caravaggio’s Medusa, Botticelli's Birth of Venus, Leonardo da Vinci’s Annunciation, and Raphael’s Madonna of the Goldfinch. Day 7: Florence to Rome | Colosseum & Roman Forum As you travel to Rome by train, take in the stunning scenery of Tuscany. You’ll arrive in Rome by the early afternoon and have time to explore the ancient city, starting at Capitoline Hill before continuing on to the Palazzo dei Conservatori, Palazzo Nuovo, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, ending at the famous Colosseum. For those with an adventurous spirit, there’s the option to do this tour via motorcycle or Segway. Accommodation: The Empire Hotel

Day 8: Rome | Vatican & Sistine Chapel Wake up to a traditional Italian breakfast before setting out to explore the world-famous Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. With your guide, you’ll experience the unforgettable highlights of the Vatican, such as Michelangelo’s masterpiece—the frescoed ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Afterwards, stop by St. Peter Basilica, the world's largest church, and gaze upon some of the world’s most beautiful Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Accommodation: The Empire Hotel

Day 9: Depart Rome The time has come to say “Arrivederci!” to Italy, as you depart on your flight home. If you’re not ready to leave paradise just yet, join the 3-Day Greece extension.
