See the Famous Horseshoe Bend

The Colorado river runs through the grand canyon and all of Arizona. Many years ago, the river started eroding over the tan rock. It eventually created a “U” shape that is now known as the famous Horseshoe Bend. The green algae colored river creates a glorious contract between the tan canyon rock surrounding it. You can take a walk over to the Horseshoe Bend overlook or take a tour to a private location within a 100 meters from the rim of the bend.

These slot canyons make for Instagram worthy pictures and are best during the fall time from august to mid-October.
