Shaped like traditional African beehive huts, the Three Rondavels form three pinnacles of rock rising above the canyon. Drink in the dramatic views before proceeding back south along the route to the Bourke’s Luck Potholes. This formation is the result of decades of swirling water where the Treur River meets the Blyde River, the tumult of which has caused extensive water erosion over time. After enjoying the spectacular and humbling views at God’s Window, continue back to Graskop where we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restuarnat. Our day ends with a visit to the historical mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest. We will have the opportunity to visit the Printing Museum, House Museum, Dredzen Shop Museum, Alanglade House Museum and the Diggings Site Museum.
