These months generally offer warmer temperatures during the day, although you can expect those temperatures to drop as the sun goes down, especially with the unpredictable wind. So make sure to pack a few extra jackets for unexpected cold weather, especially in higher altitudes! Yet, with warmer temperatures during the day, this time of year is ideal for long treks, camping, and experiencing the wildlife and and nature in full bloom!
If you’d like to skip traveling during the peak season, then you can consider visiting Patagonia in the shoulder seasons: November to mid-December, and mid-March through April. These months, though a little chillier, will reward you with stunningly vibrant fall and spring foliage, as well as cheaper travel and accommodation prices. So, grab an extra layer of clothing and don’t miss the beautiful blooms!
